Playing nicely with third party tools

As many of you know, the latest generation iPhone and Touch devices have been locked down to stop them working with third party applications and tools.

Using the steps below, your iPhone/Touch using firmware 2.x / 3.0 (Windows formatted) can be unleashed to once again allow them to be used with your favorite tools.

This guide requires that you "Jailbreak" your iPhone/Touch. What this does is to open up your iPhone/Touch's file system so it can be accessed from your computer. Don't worry, your iPhone/Touch will still work with iTunes afterwards.
